Region 5 Meeting last week went well. Cornell Cooperative Extension and Dan McCain, Chief of Police Town of Crawford, were the speakers. Two exchange students were also in attendance.

SPEAKER:
Zach Spiker is in his second year as Army Men's Basketball Coach. Before Army, he was at Cornell for five years. He is a native of West Virginia and his wife is expecting their second child. This was his first Rotary meeting- "apparently Army hasn't won enough games yet for me to be invited anywhere." He had to start his job at West Point pretty quickly and with little notice so he left his wife in Ithaca to do everything- sell the house, pack, get moving company- and said see you in a couple of months. Zach loves coaching and helping players get over adversity on the court and in school, which will help them in their futures. He loves his job at West Point and says it's the best job in the world. Army's basketball team has not had a winning season in 25 years, but Zach says he has a very young team and he looks forward to building the program up.

50/50: Patti Sanders
4-WAY TEST: Nick Constantino

Reminder: Tomorrow morning's meeting is a Round Table. Family Night is tomorrow night at 6pm at Wallkill Living Center!
