Board Updates:
Membership
* Unfortunately, Terry Spiro must resign from the club.  She is spending a lot of time with her daughter and granddaughter in DC and is not able to make the commitment to the club at this time.  We wish her well!
* THREE new members were inducted today:  Domenick Del Rosso, Scott Hamel, and Gino Zefi.  Nikki Regina, Ellen Quimby, and Frank Giannino were their sponsors, respectively.  Congratulations and welcome to Wallkill East!!
* Please invite friends, business colleagues, etc. to our New Member Mixer on April 18th.  We are currently at 33 members and Lauren set a goal of 35 by the end of the year.  We are almost there!  Rotaract members will also attend to share information about their club so please invite any 21-30 year olds you know that may be interested in getting involved.  (Rotaract is for ages 18-30 but because we will be in a bar setting we are asking for 21+.)

Foundation
*To receive the Presidential Citation this year, there are two Foundation requirements that must be met by 3/31/12:  1) every active member must contribute a minimum of $25 to the Foundation and 2) club contributions must equal $100 minimum per capita.  Steve and his committee will be following up with our membership to see that we reach this goal and receive the Presidential Citation this year.

Club Service
* Carl thanked everyone for attending our fellowship event last weekend- the show Rhythm of the Dance at the Lycian Theatre followed by dinner at the Cancun Inn.  We had an excellent time!  Thank you to Carl, Laurette, and Rich for their work in planning this event!

Rotaract
* A few of our members attended the Rotaract meeting last week to brainstorm ideas for increasing Rotaract's membership.  They will be attending our mixer in April to hopefully gain some interest in their club.  Some other ideas included: posting flyers on community boards around town, distributing information packets to local businesses, and contacting past RYLA participants.  Thank you Bela, Nick, Suzanne, and Lauren for attending the Rotaract meeting!  Lauren also passed around a sheet for a candle fundraiser that Rotaract is participating in.

Lauren distributed a copy of the budget for review.
