ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Harold let the club know that we will be doing the Flock-A-Friend fundraiser again this year after wiffle.  More details to come!

Harold also announced that Bill Fioravanti will be resigning from the club at this time.  His schedule at his new job makes our meetings tough to attend, but Bill is always welcome back should his schedule change.

Lauren let the club know how her President's Discretionary money was distributed- $250 went to each of the following organizations:  HONORehg, Hailey's Hope Foundation, Inspire, and Polio Plus.

Lauren also gave an overview of Wiffle for Kids- a runthru of the day and where we are with sponsorships ($7,750!)- and also asked that members please help spread the word and plan on volunteering that day.  The links below contain much more info on the event, but you can always reach out to Lauren or Carl if you have any questions.

SPEAKER(S):
Meghan Taylor is the Director of Business Attraction at the Orange County Partnership;  she is the "salesperson for Orange County."  The Town of Wallkill is the most pro-business municipality in the county.  Crystal Run Healthcare employs 1,600 people.  350 jobs were created in the Town of Wallkill in the last year.  Meghan is working with a few companies right now that are considering moving into Orange County, although she could not give too many details at this time.  The biggest deterrent for businesses moving to New York state is the cost of doing business here.  That has gotten better in recent years, but the cost still remains high.
