SPEAKER(S):
Bill Fioravanti spoke about chambers in general, with an emphasis on the Orange County Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is part of a 3-legged stool with the Orange County Partnership and the Orange County Tourism Agency. Promoting "Think Local" is a large responsibility of the Chamber, as is being a lobbyist for local businesses. The Chamber also provides guidance and assistance in security and utilizing available state and federal grants. (i.e. Employer Assistance Program). Member to member discounts are promoted.
