September 8th -- Fellowship Mixer with the Walden club @ Winding Hills Golf Club, Montgomery, 5:30-8pm. Carl sent around a sign-up sheet.
September 17th -- WIFFLE FOR KIDS!!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Wiffle for Kids is right around the corner!! Sponsorships (Corporate and Pinch Hitter) are still available and there is still space in the competitive tournament. Posters were distributed. Please hang and spread the word! A sign-up sheet was also sent around for volunteers day of.
SPEAKER(S):
Debra Randazzo spoke about Hailey's Hope Foundation, passed around a packet of information, and showed a short video about the foundation. Hailey's Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in memory of Hailey, Donna's daughter, who was born prematurely at 21 weeks and passed away shortly after birth. The foundation helps families with premature babies. They provide financial assistance as well as important resources to help families deal with the stress and emotions of having a premature baby. The foundation is hosting a Viva Italia fundraising dinner at the Harness Racing Museum in Goshen on October 15th.
