SPEAKER(S):
Joanna Greenwald spoke about bullying and how different it is now than when we were growing up.  Now it happens with technology- facebook, Tumbler, and other sites.  Cruelty is at a much higher level and the damage is both physical and mental.  If your child is the bully you must step-up and act like a parent.  Never put technology in a child's room- keep it in an open, family space.  Know all your child's passwords and have guidelines for technology use.  Always keep an eye on your children and know what they are up to.  Make sure they know that they can come to you, the parent, with anything.  It does not matter what age you are- you can be bullied by what someone does or says online.  Employees can bring the employer (business) into the problem with or without the business knowing what is going on.  Keep tabs on internet use of your employees.
