Wallkill East Rotary and the Pine Bush High School Interact Club raised $2,500 to donate to the S.T.E.P program.  (Schools To End Poverty)  District Governor Nick Constantino put a challenge out to all the clubs in our district to raise $82,000 for S.T.E.P during his governor year.  This money will go to adding on to an existing school in Vietnam, the Rose School, which will help to serve over 500 more children.

With the help of our club, the Pine Bush High School Interact Club did a coin drop at Sam's Club in Middletown.  Over $850 was raised at this coin drop.  Wallkill East matched this amount (and then some!) and our members also contributed to get us to our total $2,500 contribution.
