Wallkill East Donates to Water Project

Wallkill East is a member of Rotary Region 5, which includes our neighboring clubs of Liberty, Livingston Manor, Middletown, Minisink, Monticello, Port Jervis and Shawangunk Ridge.  Regularly throughout the Rotary year we all gather together to celebrate all the great things our clubs are doing and have some fun together.

 

At our Region 5 gathering last night, Wallkill East presented the Liberty Rotary Club with a $1,000 check for their Haiti Clean Water Project.  This phenomenal project provides water filtration systems for Haitian families.  The Liberty club's goal is to distribute 1,000 of these systems to 1,000 families.  We are honored to help them reach their goal!
